What we collect, and why

We do not collect your card number (Stripe does), your location from your device, or the map coordinates of your address (we check the address is in our area and don't keep the result).
Health information
If you tell us about an allergy or dietary need in your notes, we use it only to pass it to the restaurant for that order. We never use it for anything else, never sell or share it for any other reason, and it is removed along with your other details (see "How long we keep it"). You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who sees it
- The restaurant sees your first name, your items and notes, so it can make your order. It does not see your phone number, email or address.
- Your driver (that's us) sees your name, phone, address and notes, to deliver.
- Companies that run parts of the site for us, and only to do that job: Stripe (payments), Supabase (our database), Resend (sending emails), Mapbox (checking your address is in our area) and Cloudflare (hosting the site). They handle your information under their own privacy and security terms.
- The law: we'd share information only if legally required, for example by a valid court order.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies and storage on your device
- Your cart, a draft of the checkout form and a link to your latest order (for the Track button) are kept in your browser on this device only, so they’re there if you come back.
- If you sign in, one cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out deletes it.
- No advertising, tracking or third-party cookies.
How long we keep it
- Sign-in codes: deleted within a day. Sign-ins: end after 30 days, or when you sign out.
- Checkouts you didn't pay for: your contact details are removed after 30 days.
- Completed and cancelled orders: your name, phone, email, address and notes are removed after 2 years. We keep the amounts and items (without your details) longer, because businesses must keep tax records.
- Your account: until you delete it.
Your choices
- Order as a guest. An account is optional.
- See and change your saved details on the Account page.
- Delete your account from the Account page. That removes your account and your details from all your past orders. Orders still being delivered keep your details until they're finished; email us and we'll remove them then.
- Email us to get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it. We'll do it within 30 days and won't charge you.
Keeping it safe
The site is served only over secure (HTTPS) connections. Card payments happen on Stripe's page. Sign-in codes and sign-in tokens are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. Order and account details can be read only by our own server, never directly from the internet. If a breach ever affects your information, we'll tell you as Washington law requires.
Children
The site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you first.
